Los Vatos Roll Past Boneheads

Los Vatos easily dispatched Boneheads on Sunday, 12-6.
Los Vatos were the first to get on the board in the first when Alfonso Ceja singled, scoring two runs.
Los Vatos scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning. Chris Jeffcoat singled, scoring one run, Javy Aguilar singled, scoring one run, Kevin Carswell hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Mark Quinby singled, scoring two runs.
Los Vatos added two runs in the third after Boneheads committed an error.
Kevin Carswell earned the win for Los Vatos. The pitcher allowed 10 hits and six runs over eight innings, striking out seven and walking three.
Los Vatos collected 14 hits in the game. Blaine McCullars, Angel Abarca, Mark Quinby, Tad Castellow, and Stephen Snyder each collected two hits for Los Vatos. Alfonso Ceja, Mark Quinby, and Tad Castellow each drove in two runs for Los Vatos. Los Vatos had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Javy Aguilar and Kevin Carswell led the team with two free passes each. Javy Aguilar stole two bases. Los Vatos ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game. Boneheads accumulated 12 hits in the game. Rafael Lara, Trenton Packard, Ryan Hartin, and Ryan McNicol each collected two hits for Boneheads. Tanner Wilkey and Ryan Hartin each drove in two runs for Boneheads. Boneheads ran wild on the base paths, accumulating three stolen bases for the game. Boneheads turned four double plays in the game.

Los Vatos Defeat Marlins On Multiple Hit Performance By Snyder

Stephen Snyder collected three hits in four at bats, as Los Vatos defeated Marlins 11-3 on Sunday. Stephen Snyder tripled in the second inning, singled in the eighth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Marlins opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Marlins first got on the board when Eric LaBoube singled, scoring two runs.
Los Vatos tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a triple by Stephen Snyder, and a single by Alfonso Ceja.
Los Vatos took the lead in the bottom of the third. Mitch Doucette singled, scoring one run, to give Los Vatos the leg up, 4-3.
Los Vatos scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the eighth inning. Stephen Snyder singled, scoring two runs, Alfonso Ceja singled, scoring one run, and Chris Jeffcoat doubled, scoring two runs.
Mitch Doucette led things off on the bump for Los Vatos. The righty gave up six hits and three runs over nine innings, striking out nine and walking one. Chris Lockhart stepped on the mound first for Marlins. The hurler gave up 21 hits and 11 runs over eight innings, striking out six and walking two.
Los Vatos accumulated 21 hits in the game. Alfonso Ceja, Stephen Snyder, and Mitch Doucette each collected three hits for Los Vatos. Blaine McCullars, Angel Abarca, Mark Quinby, Tad Castellow, and Kevin Carswell each collected multiple hits for Los Vatos.
