Los Vatos Defeats Brew crew On Back Of Clutch Display From Jeffcoat

Chris Jeffcoat drove in four runs on three hits to lead Los Vatos past Brew crew 15-4 on Sunday. Chris Jeffcoat singled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the sixth inning, scoring two.

Los Vatos opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to three singles. Los Vatos first got on the board when Chris Jeffcoat singled, scoring two runs.

Los Vatos added one run in the third. Angel Abarca hit a single, making the score 5-0.

Los Vatos scored seven runs on six hits in the bottom of the seventh inning. Jose Rueda singled, scoring one run, Mitch Doucette drew a walk, scoring one run, Chuck Partridge doubled, scoring three runs, Angel Abarca singled, scoring one run, and Alfonso Ceja singled, scoring one run.

Kevin Carswell earned the win for Los Vatos. The starter surrendered eight hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking three.

Los Vatos piled up 18 hits in the game. Alfonso Ceja, Chris Jeffcoat, and Javy Aguilar each collected three hits for Los Vatos. Chuck Partridge, Kevin Carswell, and Stephen Snyder each collected multiple hits for Los Vatos. Mitch Doucette paced Los Vatos with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Stephen Snyder stole two bases. Los Vatos ran wild on the base paths, collecting six stolen bases for the game.

PlayerA set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Brew crew with three hits in four at bats. PlayerG and PlayerB each drove in one run for Brew crew. Brew crew turned one double play in the game.
