Carswell Drives 4 Runners Home In Los Vatos Victory Over Brew Crew

Kevin Carswell drove in four runs on two hits to lead Los Vatos past Brew Crew 10-1 on Sunday. In the sixth inning, Kevin Carswell hit a grand slam.

A single by Stephen Snyder put Los Vatos on the board in the top of the first.

Los Vatos added five more runs in the top of the sixth inning on two hits. None induced Chuck Partridge to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Kevin Carswell hit a grand slam.

Kevin Carswell earned the win for Los Vatos. The hurler gave up two hits and zero runs over eight innings, striking out seven and walking one. Chuck Partridge appeared in relief for Los Vatos.

Los Vatos tallied 12 hits in the game. Angel Abarca, Tad Castellow, Javy Aguilar, and Kevin Carswell each collected two hits for Los Vatos. Los Vatos stole four bases in the game.
