Los Vatos Stymied By Boneheads

Los Vatos couldn't keep up with Boneheads and fell 11-5 on Sunday.
An error put Boneheads on the board in the bottom of the first.
Los Vatos made the score 4-2 in the top of the fifth after Mark Quinby doubled, scoring one run, Angel Abarca doubled, scoring one run, and Javy Aguilar singled, scoring two runs.
Boneheads tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a ground out by Trenton Packard, and a single by Rafael Lara.
Boneheads took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Dexter Vilain singled, scoring two runs, to give Boneheads the upper hand, 6-4.
Boneheads scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the eighth inning. Anthony Redamonti singled, scoring one run, Ruben Arreguin singled, scoring one run, Tanner Wilkey was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Danny OBrien singled, scoring one run, and J Fisk hit into a double play, but one run scored.
Kevin Carswell pitched six innings in relief for Los Vatos. The right-handed pitcher gave up 10 hits and nine runs while, striking out five and walking two. Mark Quinby led things off on the mound for Los Vatos. The starter gave up two hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking one.
Javy Aguilar provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Los Vatos with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Chuck Partridge and Stephen Snyder each collected two hits for Los Vatos. Los Vatos stole three bases in the game. Los Vatos turned one double play in the game.
Boneheads tallied 12 hits in the game. Dexter Vilain, the number seven hitter for Boneheads, led the way with two runs batted in. Dexter Vilain went 1-for-3 on the day. Rafael Lara, Ryan Hartin, and Danny OBrien each collected two hits for Boneheads. Boneheads stole three bases in the game. Boneheads turned two double plays in the game.
